Patrick Suel. Joined Panasonic Ventures in 2006. I am responsible for identifying and leading investments in strategic technologies that could be integrated into Panasonic products through deep technical collaborations with Panasonic Japanese corporate R&D and business units. So far I have made investments in early stage startups in Nanotechnologies & materials, Medical Devices, Semiconductors, Software and Energy. I bring over 25 years of startup experience in software technologies, venture investment, international marketing and business development and as an entrepreneur. I previously worked as a venture partner for SKG Ventures and was a software executive with various venture-backed Silicon Valley startups in artificial intelligence, financial services, enterprise software and software tools where my contributions resulted in two IPOs and two M&A exits. As an entrepreneur, I founded three startups in software, biotechnology and medical devices. Academically, I hold a MSc. in Artificial Intelligence and a MSc. in Physics.
